GOAP Mountain Bike for South Summit
September 10 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm$15.00 – $50.00
The YSA is excited to offer mountain biking for 3rd and 4th graders as part of the Get Out and Play Program.
This program is for participants who are beginners on trails and not for beginners on bikes, as students should already know how to ride a bike and may have ridden some trails. We have teamed up with Young Riders who will be providing the coaching staff.
The program covers beginner single track trails, drills, climbing, descending, obstacles and safety on the trails.
This program will meet and return to the South Summit Elementary School and will happen rain or shine. There will be no refunds for bad weather.
If you do not own a bike but would like to participate, please contact Jana Johnson and we will try to help.
- Helmet (required, your child will not be allowed to ride without a helmet)
- Shoes and socks (no open-toe sandals)
- Athletic clothing
- Protective eye wear (sunglasses are best)
- Cycling gloves (recommended)
