Weilenmann School Intro to Freestyle Skiing, Freeride Snowboarding, or Nordic Jumping

This is an introductory course that takes place at the Utah Olympic Park (UOP) for students who are beginners at nordic jumping, freestyle skiing, or freeride snowboarding. Students will be introduced to basic freestyle maneuvers in the air and on the ground with the use of jumps, bumps, rails and skier/boarder cross. Instruction is provided by Park City Ski and Snowboard (PCSS).
IMPORTANT! Skiers must be at a minimum of an intermediate level to participate in this program (i.e., must be able to parallel ski or snowboard on Blue runs or above).
Dates: January 9, January 16, January 23, January 30, and February 6th
Time: Buses arrive at school at 12:45pm and return to school between 3:15-3:30pm.
Program Fees: $200 w/ UOP season pass; $225 w/o UOP season pass. Be sure to register early as prices will increase on November 18, 2019 and registration closes on December 1, 2019. Scholarships are available for students demonstrating financial need.
The Program Fee includes transportation, UOP pass (if your child does not have a season pass), and instruction.

The entire program is parent supported and chaperoned, so please do your best to assist! To make this program happen affordably we need parent volunteers. Volunteers for Lead School Coordinator will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Other volunteer positions include Bus Chaperones (who receive a half day ski pass for the day they volunteer), as well as Gear-up and Armband Helpers at the schools. To volunteer CLICK HERE

HOMESCHOOLERS: Travel time to/from venue included in estimated timeframe. Actual lesson time is 1:15-3:00PM.
